You
may be asking why there is such a large price discrepancy between some
of the paintings.
When Nielsen’s painting, Synapse, won the Chelsea Global
Award in August of 2004, the price for important key works that marked
the birth of his rendering technique jumped considerably. These pieces
of the end of the twentieth century are only going to continue to augment
in value as more collectors become aware of their availability.
Most of the paintings from 1998 and 1999 presented on this website have
never been viewed publicly.
