Talon

“I painted this early 1998, probably in January. This painting was one of the finalizing works of my rendering technique. It was exhibited as part of my one man show in the Zia Gallery three months later. As you can see it shows turbulence and bands of energy spinning away from energy clusters. To me it resembled a talon. Right now this painting hangs in my living room and is the first painting you would see if you walked into my house. I love the action." - Nielsen
