"Chaos is so beautiful. I spend so much time looking at it. My favorite
chaos subject is clouds. 2005 has been most spectacular for that in the
Salt Lake Valley. Most every day I find myself going back to my roof to
gaze and stare at how they come together and break apart. I have a huge
collection of photos of nothing but clouds that inspect often to take
a break from my nightly work. All of my paintings are like cloud chaos, except I am the wind that breaks it up and pushes it together. Each completed painting leaves me awestruck at how such complexity comes together so marvelously well." - Nielsen |
